Our practices demonstrate our commitment to sustainable development, our social participation and responsibility towards the society, the marketplace, the environment and our own people. These practices are part of every business decision or operation in the company, which has a long record of such commitment running through its long-standing presence in the telecommunication sector.
Today, Social Responsibility is an integral part of our corporate strategy, which aims at maximizing and optimising each and every action comprising the relevant programme, under the title "Building ties".
We take an active part in the ongoing broader debate on CSR, as member of the Hellenic Network for Corporate Social Responsibility, along with over 80 companies nationwide.
Our practices are assessed through the results of various researches and studies, which rank us top among the "socially-aware companies".
We are committed to continuing our work, by supporting concrete efforts that promise definite solutions, and at the same time, seek and ensure transparent assessment of its outcome in all related areas.
Our core values, namely, quality, transparency, responsibility, social awareness, consistency and continuity of our actions, form the foundation for our CSR strategic plan, which is reflected through the integrated multi-dimensional program, entitled "Building ties...".
Social Responsibility is integrated into our way of thinking, but most of all, into the way we work in order to carry out our day-to-day business.
We intend to build on our current strengths and accomplishments, as we strongly believe that when it comes to CSR, a company should give back to society nothing but its very best.

We offer universal access to communications nationwide, without discrimination and regardless of our commercial goals. We aim to ensure equal opportunities for all in the digital economy. OTE fixed-line telephony serves millions of households and businesses, while we are rapidly rolling out broadband services throughout Greece, from the most built up cities to remote rural areas.

Telecommunications is a more environmentally friendly industry than many. Even so, we are seeking to manage the impact of our operations on the environment, reducing waste where possible, through paper and equipment recycling and taking energy from 'green' sources. Thus, we make the protection of the environment yet another one of our top priorities and core values.
